Reliance International Academy (RIA) believes in imparting education with a deep and visible commitment to excellence in education. Since its inception, RIA has earned a formidable place among valley’s putative schools because of its total dedication to the high quality pragmatic education, co–curricular and extra–curricular activities.

We believe all children have unique potential that should be encouraged. And as we know that for children to excel in today’s competitive and technology–driven world, they need a new set of skills–social and emotional, as well as academic. Integrated programmes based on multi–faced activities are being implemented to have an apt balance of linguistic, cognitive, creative, socio–emotional and physical development of the children.


Our curriculum is richly supported by innovative teaching methodologies. Knowledge of different activities like sports, music, art and craft, yoga meditation and many more provide students to foster their hidden skills and talent in various aspects.

Constant monitoring, supervision and guidance in the form of in–school programme for the teachers and students have yielded rich dividends and proved the worthiness of the excellence in academics.

RIA has been awarded by District Education Committee, Kathmandu and PABSON for its outstanding SLC Board First Result in 2071 B.S. It has been conducting different programmes for future global citizens under the supervision of the British Council.

Mission Statement

RIA is a private, independent, co-educational private school, educates students from Nursery to Grade XII. We pride ourselves on our rigorous core curriculum, nurturing environment, arts, technology and athletic programs. We cultivate the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and creative growth of each child and develop a foundation that inspires excellence, builds character, and prepares each child for the challenges and opportunities ahead.


RIA is to educate and develop each student academically, physically, artistically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that the formative elementary and middle school years of a child’s development are vital, and we are privileged to engage the process during the period when an individual’s potential for learning is at its highest. Our goal is to discover each child’s potential and develop it as much as possible through a robust educational program, an excellent student-teacher ratio, attention to individual needs, teaching methods that vary according to instructional objectives, and an atmosphere of respect and love.

Our academic program emphasizes the development of strong basic skills in communication: reading, writing, speaking, listening; reasoning: mathematics, science, technology; culture: history, art, music, drama, and foreign languages. We strive to develop our students’ abilities to think creatively and critically, and to become independent thinkers and effective problem solvers.

We are proud of our physical education and athletic programs, particularly our emphasis on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the importance of exercise in leading a healthy, productive life.

The specific objective of RIA is to provide excellent education that can shape the present and future demands of the society and professional markets with the diverse extra and co–curricular activities. General Rules of RIA

All the students should attend the school regularly. Students without proper school uniform will be debarred from entering the classes, Jewelries and cosmetics are not allowed.

Any types of misbehaviour with the teachers, staff and other students will not be tolerated.

A student is granted leave on submission of convincing and reasonable application with the recommendation of the concerned guardian.

All the students should speak English within the school premises as well as in the classes except in Nepali classes.

Students securing less than 90% attendance in a term will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

Students’ name will be struck off the register if pending of payment continues until the end of the third month.

Students violating the rules and regulations of RIA will be treated as follows:

Convincing and warning

Psychological treatment

Suspension from class

Counseling with the guardians

Expulsion, if not improved
