Message from the ECAESC Coordinator
This unit extends education beyond the classroom and into the community. It puts into practice a scenario of a real-life situation and provides students with excellent opportunities to broaden their knowledge base. The knowledge and skills they obtain here will help them transcend many industries and have a positive influence on all they accomplish in life.

Objectives of ECAESC
- To promote the holistic development of the students by designing market driven course/capacity building programs.
- To supplement teaching-learning process with credited and non-credited additional focused programs.
- Incubate students to develop as the dignified and socially accountable citizen of the Country.
- To foster physical, mental, environmental and emotional health and well-being of the students and staffs.
Members
The coordinator of ECAESC shall be faculty or staff or member of BoD with an experience and interest in extra-curricular activities. The member shall be Program Directors, Extension Program Officer, HoD of Social Work, Staff with Health background, Students, BoD’s member, Alumni Association President, Chair of Student Club, and Chair of Student Quality Circle (SQC). The member shall be inclusive of gender, ethnicity and wider-college community.

Terms of Responsibility
- Design programme for soft-skill based non-credit courses.
- Search for the provision of credit transfer according to the nature of the stream and subjects.
- Offer elective options as many as possible according to the interest of the students and the provision of running the classes.
- Addressing the issues and interest of the students, make plan and implement different activities in an effective and efficient way.
- Prepare the list of additional programmes like independent, vocational and other electives.
- Form ECA/CCA Committee, give job descriptions and term of reference.
- Prepare annual calendar to conduct all designed activities.
- Prepare the list of extension activities to be carried out throughout the year.
- Prepare annual action plan for the extension activities and outreach activities.
- Prepare strategy to work with GOs and I/NGOs.
- Focus on gardening, plantation and sanitation activities within Institution and the vicinity
- Organize local, regional, national and international sports activities in regular basis.
- Organize different sports activities in association with local clubs.
