The Bachelor of Computer Application, or BCA, is a new computer science degree offered by T.U’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The main objective of the degree is to educate high-quality computer application users, software developers, network engineers, system designers, and system administrators. The program study is for eight semesters (four academic years), starting in September and February of each year. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the BCA course at RC, students must meet the following criteria:
Passed in 2079 B.S.
- Minimum D grade in each subject of grades 11 and 12 with a CGPA of 1.8 or more
- A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline.
- Students who have passed grade 11 and are waiting for grade 12 results can also apply. However, they have to submit all the required documents at the time of admission.

Course Objectives
Requirements
- Entry in BCA is intermediate level or higher secondary level or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least second division (45%)
- Submission of CMAT entrance score sheet.
- Students’ academic performance is evaluated based on Internal of 40 % taken by the College and External of 60% taken by the concerned Dean’s Office.
- Medium of Instruction and admission of the program shall be English.
