Message from the RMC Coordinator

The Research Management Cell is dedicated to exploring new ideas in research, innovation, academic endeavors, and knowledge boundaries and has been aiming to cultivate an environment of top-notch research.  As unit coordinator, I’ll drive impactful projects, workshops, and fieldwork to inspire innovation and advance knowledge together.

Objectives of RMC

  • Encourage the use of research in Reliance College’s classroom instruction.
  • Secure an efficient system and enhance the organizational ability to carry out high-caliber research at the college. 
  • Organize research collaboration, funding, and consulting in coordination with national and international organizations.

 

Members

The coordinator of the Research Committee shall be the Faculty Member with large research experiences, most prefer-ly full-time faculty member. The members shall be Program Directors, Research Subject Faculty Members, and Student. The member shall be inclusive of gender, ethnicity and wider-college community. The committee shall be formed with the following members.

Terms of Responsibility

  1. Engages in independent, creative research with an inclusive, multidisciplinary viewpoint.
  2. Empowering graduate students through engaging orientations and hands-on training programs.
  3. Involve academics from several disciplines and college students in relevant study initiatives.
  4. Encourage staff and students to perform research using the established criteria to be considered for a research grant or financial assistance.
  5. Prepare grant proposals for research from universities, national and international organizations, university grant commissions, and foreign diplomatic missions.
  6. If the college is required to submit a proposal, it should be delivered to the appropriate department within the institution, evaluating the research’s relevance and usefulness to the college.
  7. Building strong cost-sharing partnerships with external agencies to fuel collaborative research.
  8. Motivate educators and students to participate in the research-based project. 
  9. Gather, examine, and publish the articles in a research-based publication regularly. 
  10. Motivate faculty members to carry out joint, small, and faculty research. 
  11. Assist instructors and students in presenting and publishing their findings in various national and international conferences and journals
  12. Make recommendations for student rewards and career upgrades for academic members based on their publications and research efforts.
